Christmas Time!

Well, we have had a busy couple of weeks! I decided I had better blog about it now before Christmas morning!

On December 13th, we went to a Utah Jazz game. Jason had won a couple of tickets at a dairy meeting in Richfield (they were on the 9th row!) so the girls and I bought nosebleed seats so that we could go, too. Believe it or not, the people in front of Gary and Jason never showed up to the game so in the 2nd period - the girls and I moved right in front of them and spent the game with the boys. We had such a fun time!

On December 16th was our Ward Christmas Party. Being in the Relief Society, I helped with the meal - we had turkey and all the trimmings. It turned out really nice. The Primary program was great - the kids sang so well and knew every song! Afterward, Santa came and Jason thought it would be funny to ask for a Barbie doll! Well, we will just see what Santa brings!!

Kari had her Preschool Christmas Program on December 18th. What a singer!! She loved performing in the program and was singing the songs for two weeks before and is still singing them. ("I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus!" is her very favorite!) It's hard to believe that this will be my last preschool Christmas program! Next year is kindergarten!
Santa came to visit Circleville at the new town hall on Saturday, December 20th. Jason was playing a basketball game, so the girls got to visit Santa again. Emily still wants a pink camera, Kate wants a pet shop, and Kari wants a Diamond Castle barbie. Thank goodness some things don't change!

Emily played Who #4 in The Grinch Who Stole Christmas in her 3rd grade Christmas play on Monday, December 22nd. Miss Jo did her hair to look like a Who and it turned out cute! She did such a great job!

Emily also had her 3rd grade vs 4th grade basketball game on December 23rd. She even made a basket!
It will be nice to have things slow down for a while after Christmas!!
